The P.A. stepped out so I have some time to at least write. Colds are prevalent among school kids. They say that varying weather condition every day does not have to do with it. What is the cause of this? Of course, viruses. Only symptomatic treatment is available for uncomplicated cases of the common cold: bed rest, plenty of fluids, gargling with warm salt water, and taking aspirin or acetaminophen to relieve headache or fever.
Antibiotics do not kill viruses.
For the past three days, I was always hungry which required me to alter my dietary regimen. I needed to eat something every after two hours. Sounds too much but it was true. I had an adverse reaction to erythromycin. In my case, antibiotics apply since I’ve got red, itchy, swollen, and irritated tonsils. As expected, I had gastrointestinal disturbance.
For today, I am resuming my usual and ordinary diet, which means I am feeling much better now.
For this year, a gulp of a can of cold coke zero last Monday is my first and last taste of it.
There is a good and bad side in every situation and this taught me some lessons. That there is always a time for everything. For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to search, and a time to give something up as lost; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; A time to rip, and a time to sew; a time to keep silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
