I’m free, I’m careless, I believe

I want to believe that with finitude of fallibility and vulnerability.

Teach me simplicity and wisdom to take pride in my imperfection;

For You love me this way, there is nothing more that I could strain to become;

Teach me not tire of paddling across the river of life but to anticipate the thrill of seeing You by the bend; To have faith, believe over and over again that I am just what I ought to be—free from judgment.
