My family and I have been here a week ago. If you are looking for a beach with crystal clear water, then Poro Beach Island is one that I can recommend. The place is located at Bahao, Libmanan, Camarines.
Poro is significant in town’s history for it was known that ancient human settlement had been dug up in 1851 near the Tres Marias islands. I have seen the Tres Marias Islands where there are caves inhabited by early natives.
PRIVATE VEHICLE from Naga City (You can use google map)
-Stop at Petron San Isidro Libmanan, turn left passing by the following barangays: Malinao, Pag-Oring, Tanag, Cambalidio, Villasocoro, and Salvacion. Travel time is approximately 1.5 hour. Just a reminder and precautionary advice: BUMPY ROADS AHEAD! It was actually a roller coaster ride. I can’t keep myself from saying “wahhhh” and citing intent prayers in my mind.
-From Bahao Port, you need a boat to bring you to the island (about 30-minute ride). The barangay staff will collect P120.00 per head as payment for the boat and island entrance fee.
In totality, it was an adventure worth taking!
